A ROMSEY salon is holding an open evening event to demonstrate its services.
Trevor Mitchell and Chez Gerrard Romsey, on Market Place, will host the event on Thursday, November 9 between 6.30pm and 8pm.
Staff will be conducting demonstrations on hair styling, brow services and make up, with complimentary scalp, hand and arm massages available. There will also be exclusive offers on the night, including gift vouchers and discounted hair, skin and scalp products.

The evening is being held to belatedly celebrate the partnership between the Trevor Mitchell salon in Romsey, and Helen Gerrard, who has run her own hairdressers in North Baddesley for 28 years.
Helen took over the Romsey salon at the end of 2019 after former owner Nick Martin retired. With the salon having to close to customers due to the Covid-19 pandemic, she took the opportunity to renovate the premises and introduce new services.
Helen said: “I knew that Romsey was a place where despite there being many excellent salons, I could make a difference by introducing those small services that make the customer relax but more importantly, turn them into regular customers by pampering them from the moment they walk through the door with our complimentary pampering extra’s.

“Since COVID and after some tough economic years, people want to get mobile again and need to alleviate their stresses, and so for example, lying down and having a slow head massage at the backwash basin or even having a hand massage can be so relaxing.
“I wanted to refurbish the salon and develop a warm yet modern culture where clients were placed at ease from the moment they arrived until they left. The team have come on in leaps and bounds and I have now moved some of my North Baddesley team members to the Romsey salon to bolster Romsey.”
Tickets for the evening cost £10 each and will count as a voucher towards the cost of future hair appointments booked on the night.
