A CAR has been seized in Alresford by police after it was found to have stolen number plates.
Winchester Police took to Facebook to share the news on Friday, September 29 on Facebook.
The Winchester Rural team carried out checks on the Mitford Road and Windsor Road areas when they came across the vehicle.
The post on Facebook reads: "This evening the Winchester Rural team have been carrying out ASB patrols around the Mitford Road and Windsor Road areas.

"While conducting these patrols we came across a vehicle that we recognised as potentially displaying stolen number plates.
"Further investigation showed that the number plates did not belong to the vehicle and that the vehicle had been involved in further criminality. The vehicle has now been seized."
