THREE Winchester buildings have been shortlisted for several prestigious property and construction awards.

The projects, submitted for awards by Winchester-based property and construction consultants Ridge and Partners, are Trinity Winchester’s residential extension Bradbury View in Winnall, the University of Winchester’s West Downs Centre in Romsey Road, and the nearby Winchester Hospice at the Royal County Hospital’s Burrell House.

Ridge provided multidisciplinary services on all three buildings.

Trinity Bradbury View has been shortlisted for the national RESI Awards in three categories - Development of the Year, Social Impact Initiative – Residential and Health and Wellbeing Initiative – Residential.

It has also been nominated for the Constructing Excellence SECBE Awards in the Residential Project of the Year category.

Winchester Hospice/Burrell House is up for a national RESI Award in the Social Impact Initiative – Residential category and a Constructing Excellence SECBE Award in the Conservation & Regeneration”category.

Finally, the West Downs Centre is in the running for the Net Zero Category at the Constructing Excellence SECBE Awards in recognition of its advanced low carbon and sustainability credentials

The RESI Awards ceremony will take place at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London on May 11, while the Constructing Excellence SECBE Awards ceremony will take place at the Royal Lancaster Hotel in London on June 30.
