A PUB in the Meon Valley has opened its doors after closing for two weeks for a refurbishment.
The King's Head in The Square, Wickham has welcomed customers back and manager Charlie Chesterman said he is proud of the pub's new "sparkle".
Charlie said the work has resulted in a brighter looking bar area and has also seen the function room, which has a private bar for parties and celebrations, given a revamp.

He also said there has been work to improve the courtyard, such as a large ramp fitted to make access easier for all.
Charlie said: "It's looking great."
Now the refurb has been complete, the King's Head, which is run by pub chain Fullers, is recruiting five extra bar staff to keep up with the growing demand.
