“Just as the perfect brew takes time, we’re taking this extra time to honour the building's legacy and make sure everything is just right.”

The spokesperson said that a new opening date will be confirmed shortly.

Kavi Coffee has been contacted for more information.

The coffee shop will be replacing the former Sofa Workshop. According to the government website Companies House, the business is owned by Dhan Bahadur Tamang and Dhan Bahadur Sakri.

Mr Tamang is also the founder of DT Coffee Roastery, in Moorside Road, which is a specialist retailer supplying coffee to businesses in the UK and internationally.
