COLDEN Common will see one of the oldest continuing traditions of rural England.
Winchester Morris Men will be performing the Cotsworld Morris dance at the community centre on St Vigor Way.
The event will be held at 7.45pm, Wednesday June 17, before the group move off to The Bugle in Twyford.
References to the dance date back six hundred years, gaining sufficient popularity by the time of Elizabeth I that it was soon performed across the country.
