A CORNER of the rural Hampshire countryside is calling for volunteers to help maintain it.
Shawford Down, which is home to cattle, butterflies, birds and small mammals, needs regular pruning.
Residents are gathering to carry out some conservation work today, and will be meeting at the top car park at 10am.
