Owslebury Parish Council to discuss bus stop move
OWSLEBURY Parish Council is considering moving the Longwood Road bus stop.
The current stop has no shelter and some parishioners have asked for its location to be reviewed by Hampshire County Council.
Michael Cleary, parish clerk, said: “The present bus stop is further up the Longwood Road and there isn't any shelter from the elements, and indeed some have difficulty getting off the bus as it is by the bank protecting the recreation ground. In addition, a community minded parishioner has offered to have a bus shelter built by the proposed new site.”
