GARDENS in Crawley will be open this weekend to raise money for refurbishments at Winchester Cathedral.

The Friends of the Cathedral hope to restore the medieval glass windows in the south presbytery aisle.

Little Court, in Crawley, spans seven sections over three acres, and includes lawns and orchards, beautiful views with seating, a butterfly field, traditional kitchen garden, a tree-house with secret staircase and glass labyrinth.

The gardens will be open from 2pm until 7pm on Sunday June 29, and Sunday July 20.

Admission costs £5, and children go free.
