Date announced for West Meon Garden Show
FROM freak fruit to flowers, courgettes and cucumbers, gardeners will have plenty of chances to impress at West Meon Garden Show next month.
Seventeen trophies are up for grabs across nearly 100 categories of vegetable, flowers, crafts and preserves. They include two children's trophies.
The show gets underway at West Meon Village Hall from 2.30pm on Saturday, August 8, with prizes presented at 3.30pm. Entry to the afternoon show costs £1.
Contest entry is free. Forms can be collected from West Meon Village Shop, in the High Street, and must be returned by 5pm on Wednesday, August 5.
