Lecture series to raise money for Itchen Valley churches continues
THE Martyr Worthy Lecture Series continues with a talk by Dr John Davies.
The topic is ‘The Jewels in the Crown – The Hidden Manor Houses of England’ and explores the evolution of the architecture or manor houses, hidden away in rural areas.
It is at Itchen Abbas and Avington Village Hall on Friday, January 30.
Doors open at 7pm for a complimentary glass of wine and canapés. The lecture starts at 7.45pm.
Tickets cost £15 and the event is in aid of Itchen Valley churches. For further details email mumgod@aol.com.
