Highways officials dig ditches to prepare for winter weather
WORKS have begun to clear out gullies near Hurlsey and Otterbourne in preparation for bad winter weather.
The ditches along Poles Lane are being dug by Hampshire's Highways Agency in a bid to ensure water does not gather on the road.
Last year the road became near-impassable after the severe weather.
