BISHOP's Waltham is set to lose one of its two police sergeants.
Sgt Richard Holland, who took on the beat in March, has been moved to Portsmouth as the national force makes £28m in cuts.
Sgt Stuart Gilmour will be the only sergeant covering 13 areas, including Curdridge and Durley.
“That's something we expected,” Sgt Gilmour told a Police and Communities Together meeting. “I feel a great sense of relief that I'm staying in post here.”
