HURSLEY residents could see several weeks of disruption as the council carries out essential road works.
Road-surfacing works are due to start on Main Road, between Poles Lane and the IBM northern entrance, on Monday (July 21) and are expected to last for several days.
In a letter to residents a representative the Highways department said: “Every effort will be made to minimise disruption to highway users. Stop Go traffic management will be utilised on the road. Delays are to be expected. As much notification will be provided to the public as possible via signage erected on the road.
“The overarching programme is extensive and weather dependant therefore changes to dates and times are likely, and often at short notice. The pre-warning signs will be updated as soon as possible to help inform the travelling public.”
