A REMINDER that the Itchen Valley Flower Show is just around the corner.
The show will be held on Sunday, July 27, at 2.30pm, in Itchen Abbas and Avington Village Hall, and the organisers are urging people to prepare their entries.
The annual flower, produce and craft show has been a regular on the calendar for approximately 50 years, and there are 13 different trophies up for grabs, and three children’s trophies.
There are six sections and over 50 categories to enter, including fruits and vegetables, flowers, flower arranging, cookery, preserves and craft.
The children’s section is split into six classes.
In commemoration of WWI, category 50 is a 1916 Trench Cake.
