ALRESFORD Young Farmers Club will be returning with their annual charity Muck Lug.

Taking place on Sunday, March 5, the Muck Lug will be raising money for a pair of chosen charities – Farming Community Network and Winchester-based Friends of The Family.

Keen gardeners will be able to collect manure from the group outside The Christy Hall in Old Alresford, where the young farmers will be stationed from 9am to 10.30am. Delivery will be available by prior arrangement in the Alresford and Old Alresford area.

It will cost £3 for a bag, £5 for a wheelbarrow, £70 for half a trailer and £140 for a whole trailer of manure, all of which has been rotted on a local farm.
