U14 champion Tiago Fernandes, from Southampton, took the Royal Guernsey Cup as the leading Under 14 player, finishing on four-over par, writes Andrew Griffin.
Tiago, who is a member at Wellow GC and finished in sixth place overall, said: "I putted pretty decent and played pretty solidly overall.
"I holed from 40 feet for a birdie on the third, and played the par-fives quite well. I was putting out on the 18th when we got called in.
"I just tried to stay in the moment during the break and when we went back out.
"I tried not to get too far ahead of myself. We knew it was just nine more holes."
Tiago had been playing well in the build-up to the championships, winning the club championship at Wellow – where former England Boys' captain Dave Porter was a member as a youngster, and still plays having regained his amateur status – in the last few weeks.
He needed to beat 10-year-old prodigy Henry Atkinson, from Lyndhurst, by one, as the juniors dominated the men's section.

Last year’s Hampshire U10s winner racked up an excellent 37 stableford points to claim the U12s title, beating Bramshott Hill’s Charlie Ship by three, thanks to four birdies on the four-handicapper’s card.
Ship, who was third in the U10s a year ago, picked up 40 points in the handicap competition, playing off nine, to finish second.
He was two points behind Basingstoke’s Alex Pardoe, with Atkinson in third, having returned 37 points, edging out Lee-on-the-Solent’s Jake Binny and North Hants’ Alfie Hill on countback.
Stoneham were among the prizes in the U10s age group as Franky Hardy, who plays off 18, winning with 22 points – two better than Petersfield’s Archie Hargreaves, with Corhampton’s Ralph Smith third with 19 points.
Hargreaves took the honours in the handicap competition, with the 23-handicapper storming to victory with 38 points – three clear of Army GC’s Rahim Kassim, with Hardy a point back in third.
