Southern Brave has confirmed that it will retain 18 players, including James Vince, Danni Wyatt, Chris Jordan, and Lauren Bell, for The Hundred's next season at Utilita Bowl.

The bowling trio Rehan Ahmed, Tymal Mills, and Craig Overton will also be in action, along with Chloe Tryon, Maia Bouchier, and Freya Kemp.

Across both the Southern Brave men’s and women’s teams, 18 players have been retained in total.

This means that nine spots remain to be filled at The Hundred Draft, powered by Sage, on March 20.

The sports event will be broadcast live from The Shard at 5.30pm and can be streamed from, YouTube, and TikTok.

The Southern Brave’s season commences on Wednesday, July 24 at Utilita Bowl, marking one of 68 games promising 'world-class' men's and women's sporting action, live music, and family-friendly entertainment.

James Vince said: "It’s brilliant to be back captaining the Brave this year. I love playing in front of our home fans on the south coast and we can’t wait for the competition to start.

"We’ll be looking to go as far as we can and I think we have retained a strong group this year to help us with that."

Danni Wyatt said: "Winning the competition last year was a fantastic experience and to have retained most of that group to compete this year sets us up really nicely.

"I absolutely love playing for Southern Brave, and I love playing in The Hundred, and I can’t wait to get back to playing with the group at Utilita Bowl."

In previous seasons, The Hundred has seen impressive turnout with more than 580,000 fans attending last season, including more than 300,000 in the women's competition.

Sales revealed high popularity among families, juniors, and women accounting for 41 per cent, 23 per cent, and 30 per cent of all tickets sold respectively.

Starting March 13 to 27, ticket buying will be exclusive to fans who have attended The Hundred previously.

Later, a priority window will open from April 9 to 23 for those who sign up in advance at General sale starts from April 25.

Season tickets are already sold out across all eight venues.
