A PAUL McCallum brace saw Eastleigh beat League One club Reading 2-1 in a dramatic FA Cup second-round tie - his winning goal coming four minutes into stoppage time.

McCallum reacted quickest from a Chris Maguire corner to restore the Spitfires lead in injury time after a stunning late Femi Azeez strike saw Reading equalise with five minutes of regular time left.

McCallum, who has now scored 18 goals this season, had put the Spitfires in the first half finishing off a superb move launched from the back.

Eastleigh’s reward is a third-round visit to either National League highfliers Barnet or League 2 Newport County, who replay on December 12 after drawing 1-1 in south Wales.
