A WINCHESTER swimming club welcomed an Olympic swimmer to present its awards ceremony.
Winchester City Penguins celebrated its success from the annual club championships with an awards ceremony at Winchester Sport and Leisure Park.
Swimmers from across the club received certificates, trophies and medals in recognition of their achievements.

Awards were presented by Julia Beckett, Olympic swimmer from Winchester, head coach Ben Reid and Grant Robins who was recently appointed as the club’s CEO.
Head coach Ben said: “It was a fantastic afternoon, seeing all members from the club receiving their certificates and medals, and the highlight was some of the awards being presented by Julia.”

The club is a registered charity aiming to help all children in Winchester be able to swim by the time they leave primary school.
