ROMSEY'S under-13 girls have won the Hampshire round of the 2008 Yazoo National Mini-Hockey Championship.
It's the first time they have done it and it means they will represent Hampshire in the South of England finals on April 26, the winners going on to the national finals in May.
Their young players of considerable potential gave a fine display of committed teamwork to confirm Romsey's rise in the Hampshire rankings as they forced their way past historically dominant teams.
