SAINTS boss Ralph Hasenhuttl has been named the Premier League’s manager of the month after guiding his side to an unbeaten July.

Hasenhuttl fought of competition from the likes of Pep Guardiola, David Moyes, José Mourinho and Ole Gunnar Solskjær to seal the season-closing accolade.

Saints started last month with an impressive 1-0 victory over Manchester City thanks to Che Adams’s sublime strike.

They then went on to draw against Everton, Manchester United and Brighton, before rounding off the campaign with impressive victories over Bournemouth and Sheffield United.

It is the first time that Hasenhuttl has picked up the award and the second time he has been nominated – he missed out to Jurgen Klopp in January.
