TYREKE Johnson has reunited with former Saints Under-23s boss Radhi Jaidi in America.

Jaidi is currently in charge of Hartford Athletic which is where Johnson will be plying his trade until December.

The American side's season doesn't start until next month but will run until the end of 2020.

Jaidi left Saints towards the end of last year, with it then being announced he was spending a campaign with Hartford, who are based in Connecticut on the east coast.

Johnson was handed his first-team debut by Ralph Hasenhuttl when he came off the bench to play against Arsenal in December 2018.

He was loaned out at the beginning of this season to Woking, where he made 12 appearances and scored twice.

Jaidi took to Twitter to express his delight about linking up with Johnson again.

He tweeted: "Very glad to see @TyrekeJohnson_ Joining us for season long. Very valuable addition to the squad."
