ALFIE Jones won the bragging rights when he came up against fellow Saints loanee Jake Hesketh in League One.
The central defender helped Gillingham to a 1-0 home win against a Lincoln City side including Hesketh.
Hesketh was making his first League One start for Lincoln but was taken off at half-time with his side trailing to the only goal of the game, scored by ex-Eastleigh striker Mikael Mandron in the 24th minute.
He is expected to feature in Lincoln’s FA Cup first-round replay at home to Ipswich Town on Wednesday, with the winners set to play Coventry City.
Tom O’Connor, Gillingham’s other Saints loanee, did not play against Lincoln as he was playing for Republic of Ireland u21s in their 1-0 win against Armenia U21s.
