Jake Hesketh produced another impressive display for MK Dons as his loan club beat Yeovil 2-0.

Hesketh picked up his fifth booking of the season – and his third in four games – for simulation.

But he played another key role as MK Dons strengthened their place in the top three of League Two.

They took a 13th-minte lead through Ryan Harley and Hesketh was involved in the build up to the second goal from Chuks Aneke.

MK Dons boss Paul Tisdale said: “Jake provided a nice touch around the corner, which he continues to do.

“It’s part of his game to take the game forward and he continues to do that… he’s taking the game forward all the time, always giving us the chance to break a line or attack the opposition’s back four.”

Hesketh, who turns 23 on Wednesday, made 23 appearances for League One outfit Burton in the first half of the season.

He has now played ten games for MK Dons since making his debut for the club at the beginning of February.
