AN original watercolour painting of Danny Ings is available in a charity auction.

The Saints striker is one of ten football stars painted by Wolves fan Louise Cobbold, all of which come mounted, framed and signed by both artist and the featured sports star.

Most of Louise’s subjects are Wolves related: manager Nuno Espírito Santo and players Carl Ikeme, Conor Coady, Leo Bonatini, Will Boli and Ryan Bennett.

But as well as Ings, she has also featured Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola, Burnley striker Ashley Barnes, and Everton star Richarlison.

Funds raised from the auction will go to Cure Leukaemia, Good Shepherd Ministry Wolverhampton, Race Against Blood Cancer and YMCA Black Country.

“When Wolves approached my husband Chris and I with the idea to partner on this project, for us there was not even a decision to make,” Louise told wolves.co.uk.

“Three months in, I genuinely still cannot believe that my watercolour paintings are being used on the covers of a Premier League team’s matchday programme!

“The feedback so far has been very encouraging, not only from our fans who have been incredibly supportive even before this project, but also from away fans who really seem to have warmed to the covers.

“Chris and I are so excited by the potential for raising significant funds for some fantastic charities through this project.”

The auction closes on Sunday.
