DEFENDER Callum Howe, who captained Eastleigh earlier this season on loan from Lincoln City, is on the move again.

The 23-year-old has penned an 18-month contract for Lincoln’s League Two rivals Port Vale, who have signed him for an undisclosed fee.

Howe became a popular figure at Eastleigh during the first half of the National League campaign, making 26 appearances for the Silverlake outfit and donning the skipper’s armband on 16 occasions.

Lincoln recalled him to Sincil Bank in mid-January at the end of the agreed loan period.
