The Nedlo Winter Agility series for 2014/2015 concluded with a very successful show at Birchwood House Farm, Sherfield English.
During the four shows, which commenced last November, 450 dogs have competed.
These shows were introduced as a memorial to Tim Marsh, a popular local agility handler who who died from cancer.
His wife, Sharon wished to commemorate his love for agility by donating a cut glass decanter, in the shape of a ship, for the Overall Top Dog of the series “The Captains Challenge”.
This was won by 14-year-old old Ben Lapworth with Chris Brown’s Border Collie called Ruby. Runner-up was Tracy Hunt with Anouska, a Hungarian Vizler.
Nedlo Agility is run by Lesley Olden, a top national and international agility handler and trainer who has won major trophies at Crufts, Olympia and abroad.
She thanked the show sponsors Mole Country Stores in Romsey, Norton Rosettes, Helen Davey-Smith, Marie Hembrow and photographer Emily Pratt.
