RESIDENTS are invited to attend the Romsey Future drop in event on Saturday, June 14 at the Town Hall.
The Romsey Future project has started the process of creating a shared vision for the town for the next 20 years and now needs your input.
The event, which will take place between 10am and 3pm, follows on from a meeting in November last year, which saw more than 50 local people with an interest in the future of Romsey come together to discuss ideas to enhance the town.
Following the meeting, several working groups were created to focus on leisure provision, housing, community services, getting around, the environment, the economy and community engagement.
The groups combine community group representatives, councillors, local business owners and residents.
The working groups will be present at the Town Hall to discuss their plans for the future and work undertaken so far.
Martin Hatley, Chairman of Romsey Future, said: “Our aim is to make Romsey an even better place to live and work.
“This event will be a fantastic opportunity for the local community to come together to help us develop the proposals for Romsey’s future. It’s a drop in session so you can pop in for five minutes or 50 minutes, but it is important that everyone has a chance to have their say.”
