A CONSERVATION trust will hold their annual general meeting this month as they launch a fundraising appeal for tree work.
Sparrowgrove and Oakwood Copse Conservation Trust (SOCCT) will meet at Otterbourne Village Hall in Cranbourne Drive on July 25.
SOCCT aim to sustain woodlands in the area and to ensure they have public access. The meeting will discuss their fundraising appeal for essential tree work, which they hope to raise £7,000.
If the work is not done, parts of the wood which the public can go to may be under-threat.
The trust purchased 33 acres of natural woodland across two close sites and manage them for continued conservation, recreation and education
The meeting will start at 7pm and runs through until 8.30pm.
