LATE night noise and parking problems due to a Colden Common pub holding a festival were highlighted at a parish council meeting.
At a Colden Common Parish Council meeting, councillor Barbara Kelly said that residents had complained that far too much noise was coming from the Rising Sun pub in Spring Lane after a festival called SunFest.
The festival was to raise money for charity
Barbara Kelly told the Chronicle, that the pub is very good most of the time and noise is never usually a problem.
Cllr Kelly said: "The pub is usually very good it was just that one festival which was a bit loud."
The pub say that the event was attended by 600 people, and they often get complaints about noise but say they do their best to support village life and sponsor a football team and other clubs.
