OWSLEBURY is set to host its annual horticultural show.
On Saturday (July 26) the village’s Glebe Field will be open to every plant and vegetable in a variety of shapes and sizes celebrating local produce.
There will also be entertainment from New Forest band, the Wessex Chordsmen, maypole dancing, hoola-hoop girls, a Bugs Bunny slide, ponies, vintage cars, as well as the ‘best-dressed’ competition for those taking part in the 50s theme.
In the early evening James Daniel and his band, the Travelling Owsleburys, will perform in the tea tent and, at 7.30pm, a supper will be served in the main marquee with entertainment from Jan Lyon and the Red Jackson group.
On Sunday (July 27) at 11am a special family church service will be held inside the main marquee. The Wessex Chordsmen choir will lead the hymns and Colin Harvey will play the organ.
