It's one of the biggest events in the sporting calendar - the Six Nations.

England, Wales, Scotland, Ireland, France and Italy go head-to-head as the tournament returns for the first week of fixtures.

The tournament got underway at 2.15pm with Wales taking on Ireland.

This afternoon, Scotland and England face off at Murrayfield to compete for the Calcutta Cup.

Scotland come into the game with high hopes, off the back of historic wins against England and France last year.

And England will be hoping to improve on their disappointing fifth-place finish in last season's Six Nations.
