THEY have blocked it twice and are now gearing up for a third phone mast campaign.
Residents in Abbotts Barton are accusing Vodafone of trying to “wear down the community” by targeting the same site in Winchester. They have told them it won’t work, and they are again preparing for battle.
It comes after the company teamed up with O2 last year in a failed effort to build seven masts. Six were withdrawn and one refused by Winchester City Council, the most controversial being in Abbotts Barton.
