A Winchester photographer’s work has been shortlisted for the World Gourmand Book Awards.
Arna Runarsdottir graduated from Winchester School of Art last year and has worked on cookbook commissions in Ireland.
Her pictures taken for Our Daily Bread - a History of Barron’s Bakery are said to be key to its success.
Arna, of Arthur Road, Hyde, said she was “really privileged and over the moon” to be part of the team behind the nominated book.
The award ceremony will take place in March in Paris and Arna is looking forward to “meeting people who have been through the same process” and hopes the experience will lead to more commissions.
This latest award is not her first. It follows exhibitions and awards given to her in her native Iceland, as well as Scotland and Winchester.
