Graduates from a Hampshire University showed off their skills last month(MAY19) with a stunning fashion show.

The leaving students of Winchester School of Art, part of the University of Southampton, put on the display with two Graduate Fashion Shows at Winchester Great Hall.

They used professional models and make up artists to make the models as glamorous as possible and the hair work was sponsored by the acclaimed Guy Kramer salon.

Guests also enjoyed a champagne and Pimms reception courtesy of sponsors Brasserie Blanc, owned by top chef Raymond Blanc.

Among the invited guests enjoying the spectacle were industry professionals as well as university staff and representatives from local businesses.

The event also gave the ex-students the opportunity to compete for places at the London Catwalk Fashion Event at Old Truman Brewery in Brick Lane on Wednesday, June 1.

Programme leader Amanda Bragg-Mollison said: “It was an extremely successful show. The students and the work they have done was of a great standard.

“They will all get a place in very good places in the industry. For those that go to London we have a much more prominent industry based audience on board and it’s a huge platform for them.”

Ms Bragg-Mollison also paid tribute to Brasserie Blanc for putting on a champagne reception. She said: “It was great to have Brasserie Blanc on board. That was a really nice marriage in terms of the quality of what we were after and the quality of that brand.”
