MONTY Python comedian Terry Jones will be among the star attractions at Winchester Film Festival 2010.
The nine-day extravaganza, organised by the University of Winchester, will take place across the city, including the cathedral, the Theatre Royal and the Tower Arts Centre. It will feature a mix of cult, independent and classic movies alongside new works by up-and-coming talent in Hampshire and at the university.
Mr Jones, also a historian and writer, will reflect on his films, which include Monty Python and the Holy Grail. The festival will also hear from Don Letts about his documentary Punk, Matt Berry from The IT Crowd and Nik Powell, director of the National Film and Television School.
The festival runs from June 5-13.
