A WINCHESTER woman is embarking on a charity mission to Costa Rica and Nicaragua in February.
Yamuna Morton, 21, of Upton Grey Close, Harestock, will join other volunteers from the UK to help indigenous people on the island with a number of community projects.
But the former psychology student needs to raise a minimum of £1,000 for the ten-week trip, which has been organised by Raleigh International.
Yamuna said: "It's very exciting and a good experience to see the different cultures. I will be trekking to remote areas within the countries to help with various projects."
