A WINCHESTER drink driver has been banned from the road for 14 months.
Manendran Moodley, 26, of Hyde Street, was caught in a P-reg BMW Z3 on Worthy Lane near his home on October 11, a court heard.
His alcohol level was 53 micrograms in a 100 millilitres of breath when the legal maximum is 35.
The court in Basingstoke fined him £257 with a £30 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
The ban will be cut by 14 weeks if he passes an approved course by October 18 2018.
