TWO more shops have been filled in Wichester further reducing the number of empties up and down the High Street.
Women’s clothes store Mint Velvet opened last week opposite the Buttercross following several weeks of refurbishment while Palm Panasia is currently being developed at the Broadway.
The Indian restaurant will fill the former Blockbuster space, between Subway and the Crown and Anchor, and is currently under renovation.
Mint Velvet, which has been presented with a number of awards since it was founded in 2009 by Liz Houghton, now boasts 113 stores, including 21 boutiques and 89 concessions in department stores such as John Lewis and House of Fraser.
The company reported sales of £48 million at the end of last year’s tax year, and also featured on the Fast Track 100 list for 2014.
