A BLAZE engulfed a coach in Hampshire this morning
It is understood that the coach was out of service and had no passengers on board when the fire broke out on the A32 in Exton at around 8am this morning.
Although reports on social media circulated that it was a school bus, Wheelerts Travel Ltd, claim that the coach is used for "all sorts of purposes".
A post on social media by Meon Valley local news team stated: "School bus on fire in Exton. No pupils on board. Driver safe."
Hampshire Fire and Rescue have not yet responded to queries from the Hampshire Chronicle.
Wheelers Travel Ltd said: "It was a coach, it was not in service there were no passengers on board.
"The coach gets used for all sorts of service."
They confirmed the driver was okay and said that an investigation into the fire has started.
They added: "The driver is fine he pulled in and saw it was on fire and saw if he could do anything, but realised there was nothing he can do and he called the fire brigade."
Meanwhile Swanmore College confirmed that the bus was heading towards the college.
