A HAMPSHIRE woman has been given a conditional discharge after being convicted of benefit fraud.
Tamsin Tsering, 45, of Woodlands, Bramdean, Alresford, had denied failing to tell Winchester City Council of a change of circumstances that affected her entitlement to housing benefit.
Basingstoke Magistrates’ Court was told that Tsering had paid employment from a number of employers between September 8, 2014 and June 26, 2016.
Magistrates ordered she pay £100 costs and a £20 victim surcharge.
There was no order for compensation as the sums have already been deducted from payments.
