A WINCHESTER man has been jailed for breaking a suspended sentence.

Daniel John Casey, 38, committed further offences after being given a suspended sentence for two assaults in March.

He was jailed for two months.

Casey, of Hyde Gate, Hyde, was also fined for threatening behaviour and being drunk and disorderly at the city railway station. He admitted the charges committed on August 20.

Magistrates in Basingstoke fined him £20 with a £30 victim surcharge.

For failing to surrender at Basingstoke court on September 5 Casey was fined another £10.
