A HARDWOOD furniture will open its first showroom in Basingstoke on Saturday ay 9am.
Oak Furniture Land will open at the St Michael’s Retail Park, in Winchester Road.
The new showroom has created six new jobs.
Ben North, regional manager at Oak Furniture Land said “Following on from the success of our other stores in the region, we’re delighted to be opening our first store in Basingstoke.
“We’re looking forward to extending our affordable offering to the loyal customers in and around the area.”
To remember and honour the fallen of the First World War on the 100th anniversary of the Armistic, Oak Furniture Land will be opening its Basingstoke store later on Remembrance Sunday to allow staff and colleagues to pay their respects.
The store will open at noon on Sunday, 11 November.
