A MEDSTEAD man has been sentenced for assault.
Martin Andrew Oakley, 28, of Watercress Way, pleaded guilty to assaulting Mark Gibbons at Wellington Terrace in Basingstoke on March 29.
In the same incident he also admitted criminal damage to a Skoda Octavia taxi belonging to Oury Diallo, criminal damage to a post, tile, window and post box and to a police Ford Escort.
Magistrates in Basingstoke imposed a community order with a rehabilitation activity requirement for up to 20 days and an £85 victim surcharge.
