SHE is one of the Duchess of Cambridge’s favourite designers, and came to Alresford to show off her latest creations.

Alice Temperley visited Moda Rosa in West Street on Friday (May 18) to provide a sneak preview of her autumn and winter collections.

She said: “Moda Rosa stocks an amazing selection of clothing. It's so nice to be out of London and to see such a varied choice of pieces.

“There is something for every occasion, giving customers a fabulous choice that they can’t get anywhere else.”

During the visit she signed copies of her book, True British, which looks back on her first decade in designing.

Moda Rosa was opened by Rosie Wild in 1991. She still owns the business and was on hand to welcome the special guest.

She said: “The Alice Temperley collection has become very popular and I was so touched that Alice wanted to visit our shop and meet our team and customers.

“It was a really fun day and gave us all an insight into the craftsmanship of her beautiful and very intricate designs.”

The latest creations were shown by professional models. They had their hair styled by Guy Kremer and Jonny Engstrom from Guy Kremer’s salon in Parchment Street, Winchester.
