MICHELDEVER Tyre Services' retail site at Micheldever Station is the world's busiest tyre centre - that's official.
The branch fits 2,200 tyres every week, compared to an industry norm of 100.
That's an average of around 400 every working day, about the same as most sites sell in a month.
"The expertise of our highly-trained and experienced team of tyre-fitters enables us to deliver a rapid throughput of vehicles," said chief executive, Paul Fox.
"Many customers have been regulars for well over 20 years and some travel from all corners of the UK and beyond."
MTS' revenues have doubled every year for the past four years and the firm's annual turnover stands at around £200m. The company expects to sell five million tyres this year - some 16 per cent of the total UK market.
