Alresford Library will be extending its opening hours in the New Year, ending its lunchtime closure on Friday.
The library, on Broad Street, will open: Monday, 9.30am-1pm; Tuesday, 2-5pm; Wednesday, closed; Thursday, 9.30am-1pm; Friday, 9.30am-7pm; Saturday, 9.30am-1pm.
Councillor Margaret Snaith-Tempia, executive member for culture and recreation, said: “Hampshire County Council is working towards making its libraries more accessible and convenient for people to use. The new opening hours at Alresford will see the library open an extra hour a week, which I hope regular users will really benefit from.”
