But a Winchester businessman is hoping his Nissan Micra will power him 1,500 miles across Europe, to raise money for the Pakistan Floods Appeal.
Jonathan Greatrix will take in France, Switzerland, Italy and Austria on the Czech Wrecks Rally, which finishes up in Prague.
The 44-year-old, managing director of furniture company TSW, said: “The car is effectively a lawnmower!
“The main challenge was finding one that would do the 1,500 miles and cost under £150.
“I can't be sure until I get there but I'm confident of completing the challenge.”
