Wintonians protested when the travel centre was earmarked for closure
A new café is set to open in the former travel centre at Winchester railway station.
Café Destino, which already operates from Basingstoke station, has asked city licensing chiefs if it can sell alcohol from its new site between 10am and 10pm each day.
